Subaan's Story

17 Year Old Subaan after her DeliverySubaan, a 17-year-old girl endured 16 hours of labour fleeing to Dadaab from drought conditions in Sakow, Somalia. Her delivery was severely damaging to her health, and she has yet to receive medical attention.

Other refugees told her that only women with her condition who give birth inside the camps can see the doctors. People who give birth outside of the camps don’t get medical attention.
