Africa Relief will provide two Medical Services to the refugees in North Eastern Kenya; we will provide Medical Outreach Camps and Surgical Eye Camps.
The Medical Outreach Camps will treat 100 patients each day, with various Medical conditions. In addition to the treatment we will provide them with the necessary medication required to treat their ailments. The Medical Outreach Camps will also provide vaccinations to children, and the necessary Medical Advice and expertise to pregnant women.

The Surgical Eye Camps will hold screenings at the 3 Dadaab refugee camps to identify patients, who require cataract surgery. Once the identification process has happened, the patients will be operated on at the Dadaab District Hospital by two professional ophthalmologists. The patients will also receive medication and reading glasses of appropriate strength to ensure they regain their sight.

The cost is broken down into a team of medical professionals, transportation, Medication and printed materials to guide refugees on good Healthcare.
Project Name: Surgical Eye Camps
Location: The refugee camps in Dadaab, IFO, Dagahaley, and Hagedera.
Number of Beneficiaries: 3000 patients will be screened & 300 most severe cataract cases will be identified for treatment
Total Cost: £15,000
The cost is broken down into two parts; first we will hold screenings at the refugee camps to identify the most severe cases of cataract. After the identification process is complete the 300 most severe cases will be provided surgery and medication to regain their sight.
